This knowledge encompasses a broad range of areas, including Theory Light system products, integration practices, IT and networking, industry codes and compliance, and cutting-edge technologies affecting lighting, control systems, shading, and intelligent building systems. Additionally, SSEs are experts in sales channels, go-to-market strategies, and industry trends, providing critical insights and market intelligence to enhance sales performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct technical training sessions and product launch presentations, including Continuing Education Units (CEUs), on new products, systems, features, and market trends for the Sales and Pre-Sales teams, specifiers, integrators, customers, A3E team members, and interns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and maintain technical documentation, such as competitive analyses, brand standards, IT requirements, application notes, and other relevant materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support new product and feature releases through field testing with early adopters and beta sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Act as the voice of the customer by collecting regional feedback and actively participating in ISSE feedback sessions with Product Managers, core reviews, and SSE summits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver customer demonstrations and in-field mock-ups to address custom requests for Sequence of Operation or specific device\/system functionality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle CCRs (Change Control Requests), API requests, cybersecurity, and IT compliance questionnaires for projects within your region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage in continuous learning and self-coaching to become a subject matter expert across relevant topics. Participate in joint sales calls for technical meetings and presentations with key specifiers, customers, and key accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactively identify and establish relationships with new partner customers, contributing to the expansion of business opportunities and enhancing market presence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generate sales by developing strategies to penetrate new markets and drive revenue growth, fostering long-term business development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s\/Diploma in engineering in ECE, EEE, EE, or proved related work Experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Lighting control industry or equivalent, with strong technical expertise in lighting controls and IoT domains.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-depth technical knowledge in lighting, controls, IT, networking, cybersecurity, code compliance, green building, wellness standards, and sustainability practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br>Strong research skills to stay updated on market trends and industry developments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams across India, GCC, and other regions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in delivering presentations and conducting training sessions to large, high-profile audiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service-oriented mindset with a high energy level and strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational skills for collaboration with global SSE, Engineering, and Operation Manager, Technical Engineers and Product Management teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexibility to work outside of regular hours or on weekends, when necessary, with a standard 5-day workweek.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to travel up to 70% within Pan-India and the Indian Subcontinent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hybrid Remote work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview The System Sales Engineering (SSE) team at Theory Light supports sales efforts by addressing technical challenges, educating both internal and external clients, and serving as a key resource for technical knowledge.
