This role requires a combination of technical proficiency in lighting controls, strong knowledge of IT and networking, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for cutting-edge technologies and customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide technical support for lighting control systems, IoT devices, and smart building solutions to customers, partners, and internal teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system configuration, hardware, software, IT, and networking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with customers and integrators to understand system requirements and provide tailored solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct diagnostics on system failures and provide solutions through phone, email, or remote access tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with R&amp;D, Engineering, and Product teams to address bugs, system improvements, and feature requests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in the installation and commissioning of systems remotely or on-site as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide training and support to customers and team members on lighting controls, IoT systems, and IT networking best practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support integration with third-party systems and ensure compatibility across devices and protocols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in smart building systems and IoT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with IT teams to address cybersecurity issues, network configurations, and compliance requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\/Diploma in Electronics and communication\/Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related technical field proven experience .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2-3 years of experience in technical support, preferably in lighting controls, IoT, or smart building solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of lighting control systems, IoT devices, and building automation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in IT and networking, including experience with IP configurations, protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with integration protocols such as DALI, KNX, BACnet, Zigbee or similar systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach to troubleshooting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to travel for on-site support and system commissioning as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>70% travel in India or abroad whenever is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send your CV on: <a href=\"mailto:Carrier@theorylight.com\"><strong>Carrier@theorylight.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview The Technical Support Engineer will provide expert-level support for lighting control systems, IoT devices, and smart building solutions.
